PEOPLE LABS S.R.L. (hereinafter "the Company"), with registered office at Via Emilio Salgari, 17 – 41123 Modena, Italy, as the owner of the website https://www.peoplelabs.it/ (hereinafter "the Site"), provides below the privacy information pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, as data controller of the personal data voluntarily provided by users through the completion of data collection forms on the website (hereinafter "Users").
The Company holds the right to privacy and the protection of its Users' personal data in the highest regard. For any information regarding this privacy notice, Users may contact PEOPLE LABS S.R.L. at any time using the contacts indicated in paragraph 8 below.
The Company may amend this privacy notice in response to legislative or regulatory requirements, or for the purpose of adapting said notice to instructions issued by the competent authorities in this field. For this reason, Users are advised to check it periodically.
In particular, the Company provides the following information.
Browsing Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment. This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning. The data may also be used to establish liability in the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the Site: save for this possibility, web contact data persists for a limited period of time and is periodically deleted.
Data Voluntarily Provided by the User
The data subject may voluntarily provide the information required and functional to the provision of services by completing the appropriate data collection forms on the platform or by sending an email to the indicated address.
Common data of an essentially identifying nature may therefore be collected (e.g., first name; last name; physical and/or telephone and/or email contact details). The data controller will not collect and/or process the "special categories of personal data" referred to in Article 9 of the Privacy Regulation (relating, for example, to health status).
Cookies
The Website uses cookies in some of its areas. Cookies are files that store information on hard drives or in the browser cache. They allow the respective Websites to check whether the user has visited them before, to load any customizations and/or preferences (language, screen size, etc.), and to collect certain statistical data (most visited pages, visit times, etc.). Through this data, it is possible to make the Website more responsive to user requests and needs and easier to navigate. For example, cookies allow us to ensure that information on the Site during future visits matches the preferences collected and/or set.
Processing will be carried out, also with the aid of IT tools, for the following purposes:
a) Provision of the service voluntarily requested by the data subject (by way of example and not exhaustive: preparation of quotes; obtaining or making commercial proposals and product requests; providing any necessary assistance and/or pre- and post-service consultation).
Data collected for this purpose will be processed without the need for explicit consent from Users, pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letters b) and c) of the Privacy Regulation, to fulfill contractual and/or pre-contractual obligations towards Users, as well as to comply, in general, with legal and/or regulatory obligations.
b) Sending informational and promotional communications and advertising material, offering own or third-party products and/or services, sending satisfaction questionnaires, conducting surveys and market research, by any means including in particular the use of telephone with operator and/or automated systems (e.g., SMS, MMS, fax, auto-attendants, push notifications, social media).
Data collected for the purposes referred to in letter b) will be processed subject to the explicit and free consent of the data subject pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the Privacy Regulation.
The provision by the User of personal data required for the processing referred to in point 2 letter a) is mandatory, and if the User refuses to provide it, we will not be able to provide the requested service.
If you wish the processing referred to in point 2 letter b) to be carried out, you must provide your consent. Consent may, however, be revoked at a later time.
Data is collected, processed, and stored primarily on magnetic, electronic, and/or telematic media. In any case, processing is carried out on the basis of assignments formalized before the start of the processing phase, together with adequate information and instruction on security measures and procedures to be adopted to ensure an adequate level of security.
Please note that the data subject will not be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning him/her or that similarly significantly affects his/her person.
Personal data will be retained only for the time necessary to pursue the purposes for which it was collected, in compliance with the principle of minimization set out in Article 5.1.c) of the Privacy Regulation. As this is a periodic ongoing service, data will be processed until the aforementioned service is active or is terminated by the User, subject to additional retention periods required by applicable law for specific fiscal/administrative and/or similar purposes.
Your data may be disclosed to:
a) Consultants (tax advisors, IT service providers, etc.) specifically appointed for this purpose;
b) Any public authorities that request it or to whom information must be disclosed in compliance with specific legal obligations;
c) Companies that provide services to the Data Controller, functional to the performance of the activity carried out.
The list of persons appointed as Data Processors over time will be made available, upon request, in the manner required by law, at the contact details of the Data Controller indicated in point 8 of this notice.
The data collected and processed will not be disseminated, made available, or made accessible in any form to parties other than those indicated in this notice and/or provided for by privacy legislation, nor to undetermined parties.
Data provided by Users may be transferred outside the national territory in pursuit of the purposes referred to in Article 2, to companies belonging to the categories listed in the previous point, with their registered office in countries belonging to the European Union. The provisions regarding third-party cookies, described in this notice, remain fully applicable and unaffected.
